Former Soniwala Hematology Oncology Associates caps year of growth with a Grand Re-Opening event, new name
- Practice rebrands as Roswell Park Hematology Oncology Northtowns
- Facility adds capacity with square footage, services and medical staff
- Grand Re-Opening event was attended by 200 guests
BUFFALO, N.Y. — An established hematology-oncology practice in the Buffalo Northtowns has capped a year of growth with an expansion and rebrand. Soniwala Hematology Oncology Associates, which has been part of the Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center community cancer practice network since 2014, is now Roswell Park Hematology Oncology Northtowns. The change was announced at a Grand Re-Opening event last night at the site, located at 199 Park Club Lane, Suite 200, Williamsville.
The practice, which has been operating since 1998, now offers an additional 3,000 square feet and expanded onsite chemotherapy infusion capacity. Two medical oncologists, Frederick Hong, MD, and Michael Krabak, MD, PhD, and a physician’s assistant, Cande McElhinny, have all joined the practice’s clinical staff this year, adding to a team that also includes two other medical oncologists, Saif Soniwala, MD, and Adam Kotowski, MD.
Nearly 200 guests attended the Grand Re-Opening Tuesday.
