Graduate Education

Since 1955, Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center has offered graduate programs through its Roswell Park Graduate Division, a partnership with the University at Buffalo. The Roswell Park Graduate Division operates cancer research training programs toward the awarding of PhD and MS degrees in Cancer Sciences from the University at Buffalo. Following introductory courses spanning the fundamental principles of cancer research and clinical care, students in the doctoral program specialize in one of five focus areas:

  • Cancer Prevention
  • Cancer Genetics, Genomics and Development
  • Tumor Immunology
  • Cell Stress and Biophysical Oncology
  • Experimental Therapeutics

We have revised and improved the structure and curricula of our graduate programs.  Admission to these newly re-designed programs will begin with the fall 2018 applications. Find out more:
