5 Places to Bike in WNY

In addition to the countless benefits of cycling, including the physical exercise and mental focus, it's simply a great way to get outside and enjoy time with family and friends, or by yourself. Here are five places in Buffalo and WNY to ride, and what you can expect to experience along your path.

1. Buffalo Waterfront

Buffalo's waterfront has been on the minds of Western New Yorkers a lot lately, so why not check it out for yourself?

2. Riverwalk Trail

The Riverwalk has been extended and revamped recently, and you can ride from downtown Buffalo all the way up to Tonawanda. Find your start point, and take a ride!

3. Delaware Park

Delaware Park is a Buffalo beauty. Start out over by the Buffalo Zoo, and take the path around the meadow, or ride around Hoyt Lake and head down any of the classical parkways.

4. Clarence Pathways

For a serene, natural ride, head out to Clarence and check out the Clarence Pathways, which offer several different paths and trails to choose from.

5. The Border

One of the seven natural wonders of North America, the Falls are always something to look at. Riding down Robert Moses Parkway offers many alternative, yet still awesome nature trails and parks. Cross the border into Canada for a bunch of bike paths from Fort Erie to Niagara-on-the-Lake.
