Wellbeing is important in all areas of life — numerous factors impact patients, survivors and caregivers' mental, physical, social and financial well-being.
We are here for you when the natural rhythm of life changes. Our Wellness Programs aim to improve your overall quality of life — from wellness recipes, holistic practices, and exercises.

Our Wellness Programs include an array of events and classes that tend to your mental health, focus on your physical wellbeing and overall resiliency. Classes like Reiki, Yoga, Qi Gong and guided meditations are hosted on campus weekly.
Find your cancer support group
You don't have to go through this alone. We host monthly support group sessions for patients, families, and friends of different cancer types to share information, ask questions and lean on each other for support.
Guided relaxation exercises can assist in the management of stress reactions that are often experienced during cancer treatment and caregiving. Join our 10-minute sessions to guide you in mind/body techniques that will show you how meditation can serve to increase self-awareness and control, as well as enhance feelings of hopefulness.
Qi Gong (pronounced “ Chee gong”) is an ancient Chinese practice involving gentle, slow movements — these movements have been shown to reduce fatigue, relieve depression, and improve quality of sleep. Please RSVP to Cassandra Jackson at Cassandra.Jackson@RoswellPark.org to reserve your spot!
Reiki is a Japanese relaxation technique that aims to harmonize the body, mind and spirit — Reiki practitioners will use their hands in a series of positions to deliver energy, and improve the flow and balance of energy to support healing.
Tai Chi arts comes from the Taoist tradition, which teaches that health comes when body, mind and spirit are one, encourage balance and flexibility. This moving meditation reduces stress and helps us find energy, balance and joy. Tai Chi classes will be held in various locations throughout campus every Wednesday by Tai Chi specialists Kate Simonds, Christine Falzone and Donna Tarbania.
Wellness on Wheels (WOW) is an “on-the-go” nutritional demonstration cart on wheels — the goal is to provide recipes, cooking demos, and tasting opportunities for different dietary needs and feature a wide variety of foods. The WOW cart is a great way to support patients and caregivers and provide nutritional information, all while tasting delicious recipes.
Visit WOW at the weekly Market in the Park on campus in our Kaminski Park!
Join yoga instructor Leslie Rothschild in our Research Studies Center for Yoga Tuesdays — a 45-minute yoga class intended for patients, families, caregivers and employees. Classes will meet in the Zebro Conference Room, located in the Center for Genetics and Pharmacology, 658 Virginia Street.
