Quality & Safety Reports

Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center’s quality & safety reports ensure the provision of high-quality cost-effective patient care. At Roswell Park, care and service systems are most effectively improved by continuously assessing and analyzing the structure, function and outcomes of these systems and using those data to indicate appropriate plans of correction.

The Victory Bell

Roswell Park’s victory bell is located in the lobby of the main hospital behind the Information Desk. Patients are invited to ring the bell to mark the end of treatment or the completion of another milestone. (Just ask a nurse or physician.) If you’d like to share your good news with the wider Roswell Park community, post a photo of yourself ringing the bell on Twitter or Instagram with the hashtag #RoswellStrong.

Janice Trudnowski, a brain cancer survivor who was treated at Roswell Park, donated the bell in 2015 to give patients a way to celebrate when they received good news. Ringing a bell is a treasured tradition at many cancer hospitals.
