Biography:
Dr. Nelson is a Fellow in the Complex General Surgical Oncology program. Having completed General Surgery Residency in 2022 at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, he specializes in the minimally invasive treatment of GI malignancies using the robotic platform. He is heavily involved in medical education, and his research interests include immunodeficient large animal models of human malignancy.
