If you’re a cancer patient in Western New York and are losing your hair due to cancer treatment, you’re invited to choose a wig from the Wig & Hat Boutique in Roswell Park’s Resource Center for Patients and Families. You're eligible whether you’re a man or woman, and even if you’re not a Roswell Park patient. When they’re available, you may also choose one head covering per year (hat, cap, scarf). The program is made possible by generous donations to the Roswell Park Alliance Foundation.
You can also have your new wig styled, thanks to the Alliance Foundation. Professional hairstylists LaFondra Martin and Jeff Lindner are on hand in the Resource Center to customize the wig you choose (by appointment only).
Browse the collection in the Resource Center, which is open Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Once you place your order, it will take about 10 days for the wig to arrive. The Resource Center is located on the first floor of the hospital, inside the Sunflower Café, near the cash registers.
