Whether you’re a patient or caregiver, April is a great month to discover some of the many programs Roswell Park has to offer and to recharge your spirit. Please join us for these special events:
Patient/Caregiver Orientation
If you’re a new patient — or the caregiver of a new patient — stop by the Patient/Caregiver Orientation on Thursday, April 5, or Monday, April 16, from 10-11:30 a.m. in the hospital lobby. Staff from 10 Roswell Park departments will be on hand to tell you about the types of support we offer, including nutrition counseling, rehabilitation services, our Creative Arts Team, Pastoral Care, Social Work support, survivorship services, and many others.
While you’re there, you can get help with registering and setting up your Patient Portal account. Pick up some brochures and giveaways, and enjoy free refreshments as you browse the tables.
The event is cosponsored by Office of the Patient & Family Experience and the Patient Education Department.

Wellness Wednesdays
If you’ve ever wondered about the value of acupuncture, massage, herbal products or other complementary therapies, take time to explore them on Wellness Wednesdays. Each program features a different topic, presented by an expert. There’s no charge, everyone is welcome, and you don’t need to register.
Wellness Wednesday programs take place in the lobby of the Scott Bieler Clinical Sciences Center. Here’s what’s coming up:
- Blessings by Nature — Wednesday, April 4, 11 a.m.-noon.
- Nutrition — Wednesday, April 11, 11 a.m.-noon.
- Essential Oils — Wednesday, April 18, 11 a.m.-noon
- Start with Sleep — Wednesday, April 25, 11 a.m.-noon
