Beginning in August 2019, the Roswell Park Care Network Southtowns medical oncology/hematology practice will move to 3041 Orchard Park Road in Orchard Park. The Orchard Park practice will continue to specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer and blood disorders with on-site chemotherapy and an infusion center led by Dr. Yasar Shad, who has taken over for Dr. Isosceles Garbes, who recently retired.
The new location allows us to add services we were not able to provide in our prior space. Through its partnership with Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, the Southtowns location will also open a Survivorship Clinic and patient resource center and will be providing oncologic surgical and dermatologic expertise. The expansive space in our new lobby area will allow us to offer evening educational workshops and events with the experts from Roswell Park or other special guests.
