The Department of Immunology at Roswell Park invites applications for a postdoctoral fellowship position. The applicant should possess research experience in molecular biology and tumor immunology. We have established several mouse tumor models in which to investigate key concepts of host-tumor interactions, including (a) the biology or molecular biology of tumor progression; (b) host or immune determinants that additionally influence and drive the neoplastic process, such as immune suppressive myeloid populations; and (c) the development of novel combination immunotherapy strategies that target or modulate such host or neoplastic events to improve antitumor efficacy in these preclinical models.
Candidates should have a PhD and/or MD degree, with experience in both molecular biology and immunology skills, including the handling of mice for in vivo applications.
