This SAGES exam assesses your training in both the cognitive and technical skills needed to successfully perform laparoscopic surgery. ATLAS offers a training package to master these skills.

Who it’s for

FLS certification is limited to medical residents, fellows, practicing general surgeons, obstetricians and gynecologists, urologists, surgical oncologists, and other physicians.

What you’ll learn

Our goal is to provide you with an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of laparoscopic surgery in a proven, scientifically accepted format, and to test cognitive and technical skills with the goal of improving patient care.

Completion and certification in FLS are required to be recognized by the American Board of Surgery. If you have already received ABS certification, FLS training can be a supplement to any MIS curriculum.
