As an Endourological Society fellow, you’ll spend one to two years training in all aspects of urologic oncology:

  • In the first year of training, you will have training in clinical management and surgical techniques of genitourinary cancers utilizing open, laparoscopic and robotic surgical techniques.
  • In the second year of training, you will receive training in basic/translational or clinical research in the Department of Urology and/or other departments at Roswell Park.

Program requirements

You must fulfill all the responsibilities of the Endourological Society fellowship including, but not limited to:

  • Preparation of a clinical case log
  • A published article in the Journal of Endourology, from work you performed during your fellowship
  • Preparation of a manuscript for submission to the essay contest

To receive your official diploma from the Endourology Society, the manuscript must be graded as suitable for review for possible publication. Graduation from the Roswell Park minimally invasive urology training program is contingent on obtaining Endourological Society approval.

Eligibility & how to apply

  • You must be a board-eligible urologist or have recently passed the FLEX exam with application made for Urology Board eligibility.
  • You must have a valid New York State medical license prior to beginning your fellowship.
