Megan Barry
Lab Manager
Megan joined the Hai Wang Lab after earning a BS degree in biology from Medaille University and participating in Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center’s Summer Research Program.
Renuka Dahiya, PhD
Senior Research Specialist
I completed my Doctoral degree from Panjab University, Chandigarh, India. My project is focusing on the metabolic plasticity in prostate cancer bone metastases. Using genetic approach and metabolomic techniques to delineate how disseminated prostate cancer cells survive the extreme environmental stress in the process of bone metastasis progression.
Chih Yean Ong, PhD
Research Affiliate Post Doctoral
I am a postdoctoral researcher in Dr. Hai Wang's lab at Roswell Park, specializing in cancer-bone metastasis. I earned my doctoral degree from the University at Buffalo, School of Dental Medicine, were my research focused on bone remodeling. My current work explores how metabolic reprograming drives bone metastases, and I am also investigating how cancer cells disrupt normal bone homeostasis to promote metastasis progression.
Gigani Dharshan
Pre-Doctoral Trainee
I am a PhD candidate under the mentorship of Dr. Hai Wang, focusing on breast cancer bone metastasis. Our work leverages innovative in vivo and ex vivo models to investigate the mechanisms underlying the emergence of endocrine therapy resistance. I hold a Master of Science in Neuroscience from the University at Buffalo and a Master of Science in Microbiology from the University of Madras.
