I am passionate about bench-to-bedside research. As a physician-scientist, I follow clinically relevant leads from my laboratory to implement them into clinical trials as quickly as possible to benefit patients, especially children and young adults with cancer.

As a teen, I witnessed my cousin’s agonizing battle against leukemia and watched her succumb to it at only 19 years old. This led me to pursue a career in cancer research, which started with me obtaining my BS in Biochemical Pharmacology at SUNY at Buffalo.
Throughout my career at UB and Roswell Park, I have developed a reputation for being a dedicated problem-solver who is passionate about translational research which impacts cancer patients.
