Lymphoma is not a single disease — it’s a group of cancers that affect the immune system, and there are more than 90 subtypes in all.

With a disease this complex, effective treatment depends on getting an accurate diagnosis from the very beginning. Everyone on our Lymphoma team has extensive experience in identifying and treating all subtypes of lymphoma. We focus on nothing but lymphoma, every single day — from the pathologist who zeroes in on your specific subtype to the physician who identifies the best treatment and oversees your care from start to finish. Your Roswell Park team will evaluate all your options and create a treatment plan customized to your specific needs.

Thanks to improved tools for diagnosis and imaging and the development of new therapies, we’ve entered a new era in the treatment of lymphoma. Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center offers a full array of targeted drugs, immunotherapies and clinical trials of promising new treatments that are not widely available. We are also one of few centers authorized to provide the latest FDA-approved chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapies targeting the CD19 antigen, for the treatment of mantle cell lymphoma or B-cell lymphomas that have relapsed (come back after treatment) or are refractory (do not respond to treatment).
