Transplant and Cellular Therapy Physicians
Your transplant physician is a hematologist and/or oncologist who specializes in stem cell and bone marrow transplant and other cellular therapies. Our transplant specialists work closely with our oncologists who treat leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, pediatric cancers and other malignancies and blood disorders that may be treated with a transplant.
Pediatric Transplant and Cellular Therapy Physicians
Our pediatric transplant physicians are hematologists and/or oncologists who specialize in treating pediatric patients with transplant and cellular therapies.
Advanced Practice Providers
An advanced practice provider (APP) is a medical professional such as a physician assistant or nurse practitioner. APPs work in all areas of the hospital and play an important role in the development and implementation of your treatment plan. They perform examinations, order tests, interpret data and prescribe medication.
Every patient receiving a stem cell transplant is assigned a transplant coordinator who will be an important contact and resource. This medical professional will guide you through the entire process, including pre-transplant testing and evaluations, stem cell collection, donor search and more.
