Biography
I am a radiation oncologist and Associate Professor of Oncology at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center. My clinical practice focuses on the treatment of breast cancer, sarcomas and soft tissue oncology, and cutaneous malignancies including Merkel cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, melanoma, and basal cell carcinoma. I also have a particular interest in the use of adaptive radiotherapy and other advanced radiation techniques for complex malignancies. I work closely within multidisciplinary cancer care teams to deliver thoughtful, evidence based radiation therapy tailored to each patient’s clinical situation.
I believe radiation oncology is most effective when treatment decisions are guided not only by clinical evidence but also by a patient’s individual goals and values. My approach centers on patient education and shared decision making, helping patients understand their options so that treatment plans align with their goals of care and quality of life.
Beyond my scientific, clinical and academic work, I am interested in the humanistic dimensions of medicine and how narrative, ethics, and culture shape the experience of caring for patients with cancer.
