This New Year marks the 120th anniversary of Roswell Park’s founding, so it’s the perfect time to announce some exciting changes:
- Beginning this month, we have a new name: Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center. The change better reflects our status as one of only 53 comprehensive cancer centers in the United States — and the only one in New York State outside of Manhattan.
- Our new logo represents the universal hope at the heart of Wish Field, the centerpiece sculpture in the Scott Bieler Clinical Sciences Center created by Shasti O’Leary Soudant, a celebrated artist who is also a cancer survivor.
- Our new mission and vision statement defines, with strength and clarity, why Roswell Park exists. We have one goal — to wipe cancer off the face of the earth.
