Hematologists

Your hematologist is a physician who specializes in diagnosing and treating patients with diseases of the blood and lymphatic system, including cancers and conditions that affect red or white blood cells, platelets, blood vessels, bone marrow, lymph nodes or spleen. At Roswell Park, all of our hematologists are board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Hematopathologists

Your hematopathologist is physician who specializes in examining cells – blood cells, bone marrow, tissue from lymph nodes, and more — to diagnose cancer and other conditions of the blood.

Pharmacists

Your oncology pharmacist plays a critical role in your care by guiding drug therapy decisions, managing symptoms and side effects, prevent adverse effects, and educating you and your caregivers about your drug treatment.

Advanced Practice Providers

An advanced practice providers (APP) is a medical professional such as a physician assistant or nurse practitioner. APPs work in all areas of the hospital and play an important role in the development and implementation of your treatment plan. They perform examinations, order tests, interpret data and prescribe medication.
