Our goal is to promote collaborations between cancer researchers and care providers, biotech, pharma and policymakers from the US, Canada and countries of Central and Eastern Europe aimed at the development of new cancer treatments, reduction of cancer incidence and improvement of cancer care and the quality of life of patients and their families.
We will discuss the needs and opportunities in the areas of education and training, joint laboratory and clinical research projects in cancer prevention, early detection and treatment, and new health policy initiatives. We will explore the feasibility of establishing a think tank promoting collaborations in the above areas between partners in the US, Canada and Europe.
