This past November, the Director of the Department of Indigenous Cancer Health at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, Rodney Haring, PhD, MSW, had the honor of joining prominent indigenous researchers, activists, artists and tribal leaders at the first-ever Native American Heritage Month Reception at the White House. Dr. Haring’s participation helps elevate conversations about the impact of cancer on Indigenous communities into the national dialogue.
