Roswell Park is excited to announce several clinical center renovation projects taking place over the month in efforts to better accommodate our patients.
On April 25, after a year of renovations, Roswell Park reopened its newly renovated Head & Neck Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Speech Pathology & Dental Center located on the 3rd floor of the main hospital to patients. A new shared reception space serves both Head & Neck and Neurosurgery centers. Exam rooms have been configured in efficient “pod” layouts, providing convenience and easy accessibility.
Gynecology Center - Beginning Monday, May 9, Roswell Park’s Gynecology Center will be located on the 3rd floor of the main hospital. This temporary relocation is part of a larger renovation project. Later this year, the Gynecology Center will move to a permanent new location on the 3rd floor of the Scott Bieler Clinical Sciences Center.
Clinical Research Center - On May 23, the Clinical Research Center (CRC) will be located on the 5th floor of the Scott Bieler Clinical Sciences Building. The CRC functions as a clinical center for patients participating in early-phase clinical trials, incorporating an infusion center as well as spaces for outpatient consultations and follow-up care. The relocation will support both current and future needs of our growing clinical research programs, accommodating our patients comfortably for both treatment visits and follow-up care or consultations.
Roswell Park has one of the first clinical research programs in the nation that focuses specifically on the development of new cancer treatments. There are currently over 250 clinical trials in our portfolio. The research completed in these trials allows us to report critical data that drives future scientific advancements and positions our center to compete for the most novel therapies available for cancer patients.
