For charges prior to September 1, 2024
For charges after September 1, 2024
Roswell Park recently changed its billing system to make it simpler and easier to read and pay your Roswell Park bill. The improved system features:
- A single billing statement. All charges incurred starting September 1, 2024 are reflected on one easy-to-read statement, with hospital and providers fees listed separately.
- Online bill payment portal. Pay your bill through our online payment website.
- Multiple ways to pay. In addition to paying online, by check or by credit card, use our new automated phone payment system or speak to a representative.
- Customer service center. Reach a representative via phone or email who can help you with your account.
These billing improvements are part of a larger project to upgrade our technology systems at Roswell Park. Our teams have been preparing for months and have received proper training, but as with any major technology upgrade, there may be some unexpected challenges. We appreciate your patience as Roswell Park staff adjust to using the new system.
For charges prior to September 1, 2024
Please keep in mind that because these changes began September 1, 2024, any charges incurred prior to September 1 will be billed in the old format of two separate bills: One bill for Hospital services and one for Physician services.
Hospital bill
This bill, from Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, reflects charges for hospital services and may include outpatient clinic services, medical tests, room fees, supplies, equipment, and services from technicians, nurses or other staff.
To pay your bill online, or to register to view your statements online, go to RoswellParkBill.com.
Physician bill
This bill, from Roswell Park Clinical Practice Plan, reflects charges for your physicians’ time and expertise like an exam or consultation.
Jan. 2025 update on impact of Feb. 2024 Change Healthcare cybersecurity attack
Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center and Roswell Park Care Network were notified in February 2024 of a cybersecurity issue involving a vendor, UnitedHealth Group’s Change Healthcare — a healthcare technology company that provides revenue and payment tools.
RPCI Clinical Practice Plan billing: If you have payment due for services rendered between Dec. 1, 2023, to July, 31, 2024, to RPCI Clinical Practice Plan, you may now receive a billing statement that is payable per the instructions on the statement. As communicated to our patients in February 2024, the bills were delayed as a result of the outage of third-party vendor Change Healthcare, affecting healthcare providers across the country. We apologize for the lengthy delay in receiving bills for this timeframe.
IMPORTANT: All other hospital service billings related to Roswell Park were unaffected, and payment of all other hospital bills can continue as normal.
Bills also can be paid by check or credit card via U.S. mail or at the cashier’s window in the lobby of the hospital. If you would like to make a credit card payment by phone, please call the Patient Accounts Department at 716-845-8220.
For questions or concerns about your Roswell Park hospital bill, please call 716-845-8220 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Non-Roswell Park providers
As a Roswell Park patient, you may receive treatment or services from providers that have privileges at Roswell Park, but are not Roswell Park staff. This means you could potentially receive an additional bill if the provider is not participating with your health plan. To check your coverage for a non-Roswell Park provider, please review the list and contact their office.
