For the third consecutive year, Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center and the Buffalo Bills are hosting the Prostate Cancer Early Diagnosis Outreach Clinic, a free prostate cancer education and early detection event, encouraging men to learn their own statistics such as their prostate-specific antigen (PSA) level, family history or other factors that may raise their prostate cancer risk.

BUFFALO, NY — Survival rates remain poor for women diagnosed with late-stage ovarian cancer—and more than 75 percent of patients fall into that category, with the disease claiming 14,030 lives each year.

In an effort to increase partnerships between women, veteran, minority and local businesses within Western New York, Catholic Health and Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center will be hosting a Vendor Fair. The Vendor Fair is open to area business and purchasing professionals from Catholic Health, Roswell Park and other business organizations in Western New York.

Western New Yorkers are invited to attend a special screening of the film Decoding Annie Parker on Thursday, Sept. 26, with partial proceeds benefitting the Familial Ovarian Cancer Registry at Roswell Park Cancer Institute (RPCI). The film’s director, Steven Bernstein, is a Buffalo native who will return to Western New York for the film’s screening prior to its nationwide release. Funds from the event will also support BRCA Gene Awareness Inc.
