American Cancer Society Road to Recovery Program

This program offers free transportation to and from medical appointments for your cancer treatment. This program is staffed by volunteer drivers and is available throughout much of Western New York. This service requires advanced notice to arrange transportation and is dependent of volunteer availability. Medicaid Transportation in Western New York

Medicaid recipients may be eligible for transportation assistance. Medicaid transportation in Western New York is coordinated through Medical Answering Services, LLC (MAS) 1-800-651-7040.

Medicaid may be able to provide you with free transportation to your appointments or may help reimburse the cost of mileage, tolls, parking, etc. Applications for Medicaid transportation assistance require medical certification signed by your primary care doctor, and may take a few weeks to process.
