Guidance on parking changes, watching the broadcast and more as we prepare for the festivities!

We are excited for the return of our Tree of Hope celebration – this year on Wednesday, Dec. 6 from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m.!

We look forward to welcoming you and thousands of guests to our campus. With our expected attendance, here is important guidance to help you and your visitors navigate our campus during the event:

  • The Radiation Medicine Lot (on N. Oak Street) will be closing at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 6. If you need to access this lot, our parking operations staff will be issuing validation vouchers for our parking ramp on Carlton Street.
  • If you plan to use our valet service, the valet station will be relocating to the street entrance near our Pediatric clinic, just down from our main lobby entrance on Carlton Street beginning at 4 p.m. If you need assistance with locating this entrance, volunteers will be stationed, and signage is in place to help with navigation.
  • NEW THIS YEAR: To access the parking ramp for your vehicle, you will be redirected via the pedestrian bridge by taking the elevators or stairway located near the Pediatric entrance. Please look to our volunteers for additional guidance.
  • For those planning to attend the event starting at 4:30 in Kaminski Park, free parking will be available in the parking ramp.
  • All patients are also invited to watch the Tree of Hope light show at 6:15 p.m. from their rooms if the view allows or they may watch the live broadcast on Channel 2 WGRZ.
  • To ensure a safe and efficient departure for our patients out of Roswell Park or to the festivities, we have made extra services available. Wheelchairs will be available for those who may need a little extra help navigating the exit route.

The Tree of Hope Celebration is an outdoor event, so please dress accordingly! Masks must be worn when entering the hospital – whether using the restrooms or participating in the Gingerbread House Raffle in the main lobby from 4:30 – 6 p.m. We hope you are able to join us for this annual heartwarming event!

There’s still time to register! Sign up for you and your loved ones at roswellpark.org/treeofhope.
