About Whitney Ann E. Henry

Biography:

I am a member of the Tuscarora Nation, Deer Clan. I attended Syracuse University and received my BS in Child and Family Studies with a minor in Native American studies. 
I started at Roswell Park in 2015 as a Research Assistant with Dr. Rodney Haring, primarily focused on obesity-related cancer interventions for prevention in Indigenous communities. I am a Senior Patient Care Navigator with Roswell Parks Department of Indigenous Cancer Health. 
Since 2021, I have been the coordinator for the Indigenous arm of the Indigenous & Rural Patient Navigation Program. The focus of the navigation program is breast and prostate screening, but the program addresses other screen-able cancers including colorectal and lung, as well as throughout the cancer care continuum.
