Biography:
My journey to choosing Hematology/Oncology as a career couldn’t have been more thought out than starting as a Hospitalist in the Solid Tumor Oncology department at Roswell Park. I have always felt an inclination to the understanding the science of Oncology since I was in the medical school, however my transition to this field was rather gradual. After Working as a solid tumor Hospitalist at Roswell Park for four years I finally decided to start this new chapter in my career as a fellow in the department on Hematology/ Oncology at Roswell Park. Decision to go for a formal training in Hematology Oncology at Roswell had a lot to do with the everyday inspiration I received working with my, then colleagues and now Mentors.
I could not be happier than to be at Roswell Park for my training which obviously was my top choice for a training program in the Country given I’m locally connected to the community and received my residency training in Buffalo region.
I believe Roswell Park has all the resources I would need to further my career goals in the field. I have come to know this program and the fellows trained her closely and realized how well rounded this program is academically.
