Biography

A lifelong Western New Yorker, I bring more than 28 years of progressive experience at Roswell Park across Laboratory Medicine, Clinical Research Services, and Pathology. I began my career as a Medical Laboratory Scientist/Technologist in Clinical Chemistry and Hematology and hold dual credentials as a Registered Nurse and Licensed Clinical Laboratory Technologist, along with IATA certification in the shipment of biologics. I also hold a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership, which has strengthened my ability to lead complex teams, guide operational strategy, and support high‑performing research environments.
I transitioned to the Clinical Research Department as a Clinical Research Laboratory Coordinator, where I helped establish a dedicated research laboratory services team and a 24/7 biospecimen management infrastructure in collaboration with Lab Medicine Administration. I subsequently advanced through several leadership roles, including CRS Laboratory Manager, CRS Lab Administrator, Senior CRS Lab Administrator, and Director of Clinical Research Laboratory Medicine Services.
I later served as Director of Clinical Research Laboratory Services (CRLS) within the Pathology Network Shared Resource and as Department Diversity Administrator, supporting initiatives to cultivate and sustain a diverse workforce across Lab Medicine and Pathology. Throughout my career, I have served as a key liaison between the Clinical Research Department and the Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine and have contributed to a wide range of departmental and institute‑level committees focused on clinical research operations, shared resources, scientific and operational review, diversity, process improvement, high‑reliability operations (HRO), and organizational strategy.
In May 2024, I was appointed Executive Director of the Clinical Trials Office (CTO), with continued oversight of CRLS and assuming oversight of the CTO Protocol Kit Team. In April 2025, my responsibilities expanded further to include leadership of the Study Implementation teams, including Clinical Research Coordinators and their administrative leaders.
In 2026, I completed my PhD in Cancer Sciences at the University at Buffalo, further strengthening my commitment to advancing scientific discovery, clinical research excellence, and the cancer clinical trials enterprise.
