About Michael A Kozlowski

Biography:

I was born and raised in Buffalo and attended the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, graduating in 1989. Upon graduation I completed and general practice residency at Worcester City Hospital/UMass Medical Center.

Over my 33-year career I have worked and provided care in many different settings over the years, including 13 years in my own private practice in Fredonia, NY, after three years in Massachusetts. I then took a position as assistant program director of the General Practice Residency at Strong Memorial Hospital followed by 12 years in total at Unity Hospital and after the merger with Rochester General Hospital, better known as Rochester Regional Health.

For a brief time I also took a position at the Finger Lakes VA in Canandaigua, NY, where we provided comprehensive dental care to our veterans. Education and teaching have been a passion and truly a privileged to be involved in mentoring and guiding our next generation of dental/oral health care professionals. I am very excited to take on these challenges here at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center.

Outside of my professional goals and interests are first and for most enjoying my family my two dogs, music, theater and I love to run and have completed nine half marathons and hopefully be completing my first marathon in the fall where I have registered for the Marine Corps Marathon in Washington DC.
