About Luxue Deng
Biography:
My mother’s story inspired me to become a gynecologic oncologist. She was an immigrant who pursued her dream of becoming a nurse, but sadly lost her battle with ovarian cancer. I wanted to honor her legacy by helping other women facing similar challenges.
I started my journey in Boston, where I grew up. I then earned my bachelor’s degree from Hamilton College, and went on to study medicine at Sidney Kimmel Medical College in Philadelphia, PA. I completed my residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Atlantic Health Systems in Morristown, NJ, where I developed a passion for gynecologic oncology.
I chose Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center for its rich history and resources. It is a world-renowned facility that offers cutting-edge treatments and research opportunities. I am excited to train here and learn from the best in the field. My goal is to become a caring, confident, and knowledgeable gynecologic oncologist who can guide patients and their families through this difficult journey.
