The Das lab at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center is looking for a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow with a passion for research to study molecular mechanisms of breast cancer with emphasis on the crosstalk between estrogen receptors and p53 signaling. Translating lab findings to novel therapies will be a priority (see Mukhopadhyay et al. Journal of the National Cancer Institute (JNCI) 2019, Oturkar et al. Cancers 2022, Scarpetti et al. The Oncologist 2023) https://www.roswellpark.org/gokul-das
The postdoctoral fellow will work in a vibrant and interactive environment with a dynamic team of scientists and clinicians to perform both pre-clinical experiments and participate in conducting clinical trials based on concepts and data developed in the lab.
Candidates with strong interests in cancer biology and/or cancer therapy with experience in molecular/cellular biology, genomics technologies, mouse models, and/or bioinformatic analysis are encouraged to apply.
Interested applicants should forward their CV, including publication list, a brief description of research interests and experience, and contact information (email address and phone number) of three referees to Dr. Gokul M. Das, Ph.D., Professor of Oncology, Department of Pharmacology and Therapeutics, Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, Buffalo, NY 14263; email: Gokul.Das@RoswellPark.org
