About Amy Gallagher

Biography:

Amy Gallagher, Psy.D.. MSHCT is a clinical psychologist with an additional master’s degree in Healthcare Transformation. Dr. Gallagher joined Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center in June 2022 as the Employee Resiliency Division director. Prior to this, she spent the entirety of her career in rural, western Colorado working in community mental health.

Highlights included implementing a successful, value-based, multi-county team of Community Health Workers dedicated to addressing patients’ bio-psycho-social needs within physical health care spaces and leading a disaster response team to address behavioral health concerns during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Dr. Gallagher has experience training and supervising graduate students, psychology doctoral interns, post-doctoral fellows, licensed, and non-licensed behavioral health clinical staff. Her research interests include resiliency and burnout prevention, value-based care, and the integration of behavioral & physical health.
