About Alankrita Taneja
Biography:
While still in medical school in India, I was able to gain US clinical and research experience in the field of lymphoma and multiple myeloma. Not only did I find the field intellectually stimulating; it was also humbling and deeply rewarding to be a part of a patient's journey fighting cancer. I then decided to spend a little more than a year as a postdoctoral fellow in Dr Wiestner's lab in lymphoid malignancies in the National Institutes of Health.
My interest lies in hematological malignancies including lymphoma and multiple myeloma, with a special interest in cellular therapies. I also did a course in global and urban health equity while in residency and I am interested in health disparities and equitable care.
In my free time, I like hiking, biking, travelling, reading, writing as well as creating DIY crafts!
