Cancer center recognized for second year in a row
- 600 organizations recognized nationally
- Roswell Park is one of three cancer centers on list
- Cancer center ranked in top quarter of employers recognized
BUFFALO, N.Y. — Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center has once again been named by Forbes to its list of America’s Best Employers for Company Culture. In 2025, Roswell Park was named to the company’s inaugural list. Roswell Park is one of only 3 cancer centers nationally and 6 employers in healthcare statewide to make the list. The cancer center is in the top quarter among the 600 employers recognized.
Forbes partnered with market research firm Statista to anonymously survey more than 217,000 employees in the United States who work for companies employing at least 1,000 people. Participants were asked to evaluate their company’s culture and to respond to a variety of questions, including whether employees were treated with fairness and respect, if they were passionate about the company’s services or products, and whether they felt empowered to take initiative and develop new ideas.
“We are proud to be recognized for the culture we’ve intentionally built,” says Errol Douglas, PhD, Chief Human Resources Officer at Roswell Park. “From professional development and well-being programs to open communication and teamwork, we focus on creating an environment where our employees can thrive.”
In 2025, Roswell Park received five recognitions from Forbes, including being named to its lists of Best Employers for Women, America’s Best Midsize Employers, Top Employers in New York State, Best Employers for Company Culture, and Best Employer for Healthcare Professionals.
