- Roswell Park’s 4th Best Employer recognition from Forbes this year
BUFFALO, N.Y. — Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center has been recognized by two national organizations for the experience it provides for both patients and employees.
Newsweek has named Roswell Park to its 2026 list of World’s Best Specialized Hospitals. The recognition highlights hospitals that excel in 12 key medical fields, and Roswell Park was featured among the Best Specialized Hospitals for Oncology. Newsweek determined the rankings based on a worldwide survey, accreditation data and a Patient-Reported Outcomes Measures (PROMs) implementation survey from Statista. Roswell Park is one of ten New York State hospitals recognized.
Roswell Park also made the inaugural Forbes list of America’s Best Employers for Company Culture. This ranking is determined by survey responses from over 218,000 full-time and part-time workers employed by organization with at least 1,000 employees. The scoring model is based on personal evaluations, public evaluations and company culture Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Nationally, 600 companies made the list, with Roswell Park being one of four cancer centers. Roswell Park was also one of six New York State healthcare employers to make the list.
“Being recognized for both our clinical care and our workplace is a tremendous honor,” said Julia Faller, DO, MS, Chief Medical Officer. “These achievements reflect our unwavering commitment to excellence in patient care and our dedication to fostering a workplace where our people feel valued, supported and inspired. Together, these recognitions are a testament to the passion, skill and spirit of collaboration across our entire team.”
“While these distinctions highlight our focus on building an effective and fulfilling work community, I'm especially proud of the key role that each Roswell Park team member plays in maintaining that positive and supportive environment,” says Errol Douglas, PhD, Chief Human Resources Officer at Roswell Park.
Forbes has recognized Roswell Park three other times this year, with its Best Employers for Women, America’s Best Midsize Employers and Top Employers in New York State lists.
Earlier this year, Newsweek also named Roswell Park to its list of Best Cancer Hospitals for 2025.
