Forbes Names Roswell Park a Top 10 New York State Employer

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center has once again been recognized on Forbes’ Best Employers by State listing, ranked in the top 10 among New York State employers. This is the fourth year in a row Roswell Park has made the list. Roswell Park is the only healthcare organization in the top 10 and one of only two health employers in Western New York on the list. 

This is the third recognition from Forbes this year. Roswell Park was recently recognized on its Best Employers for Women and America’s Best Midsize Employers lists.

Forbes worked with market research firm Statista to survey 160,000 employees working for companies with at least 500 US-based workers. Respondents were asked how likely they were to recomment their employer on a scale of zero to 10 and were asked to evaluate their workplace based on criteria including wage parity, work culture, paths to professional advancement and whether the employer takes action on serious issues. Participants were also asked to evaluat their previous employers (within the last two years) and organizations they knew within their industry or through friends or family who work there.
