Meet our residents
Dr Dagam Jeong: Dr. Dagam Jeong is born and raised in Jeonju, South Korea. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy in Boston, Massachusetts, and completed her PGY-1 pharmacy practice residency at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island. She is still exploring her professional interests in oncology, but currently has a special interest in breast, head and neck, and thoracic malignancies. She is also excited for the opportunities in the oncology drug industry to pursue her interests in clinical research and drug development. After completion of her residency, she hopes to practice as an oncology pharmacy specialist in the outpatient setting, particularly focusing on adult solid organ cancers.
Dr. Allison Holdsworth: is originally from Buffalo, NY. She attended the University at Buffalo, earning her bachelor’s degree in chemistry in 2019 and her PharmD in 2023. She completed her PGY-1 pharmacy residency at Buffalo General Medical Center. Her professional interests include outpatient oncology, clinical research, and precepting. In her spare time, Allison enjoys reading, being outdoors, and spending time with her family and friends.
Dr Eve Hughes: Dr. Eve Hughes is from Syracuse, New York. She received her doctorate of pharmacy degree in 2023 from the University of Rhode Island College of Pharmacy in Kingston, RI and completed her PGY1 residency at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, RI. She is still exploring her professional interests in oncology but has particular interest in hematologic, breast and gynecologic malignancies. Outside of pharmacy, she loves spending time with family, traveling, being by the water and watching football and college basketball. She is excited to explore Buffalo and see what the city has to offer.
Dr Nathan Martens: Dr. Nathan Martens was born and raised in Buffalo, NY. After earning his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in 2023, he completed his PGY-1 pharmacy residency at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst, NC. Nathan has a keen interest in hematology cancers and aims to achieve board certification in oncology following his residency. Additionally, he is enthusiastic about exploring opportunities in both industry pharmacy and ambulatory care. In his free time, Nathan enjoys outdoor activities, health and fitness, discovering new music, and exploring new restaurants. Go Bills!
