Meet our residents

Dr Jazzlyn Igiel: Dr. Jazzlyn Igiel is from Grand Island, NY. She received her Doctorate of Pharmacy degree in 2025 from D'Youville University and completed her PGY1 residency at Sister's of Charity Hospital in Buffalo, NY. She is also a Licensed Veterinary Technician. Her current professional interest includes Pediatric Oncology. Outside of Pharmacy, she enjoys training and competing with her two dogs (Bourbon and Lager) and her horse (Ollie). She also likes to stay active and enjoys golfing, bowling, and attending car shows!

Dr. Emily Austin: Dr. Emily Austin is from Corning, NY. She received her doctorate of pharmacy degree in 2025 from St. John Fisher University in Rochester, NY and completed her PGY1 residency at Mercy Hospital of Buffalo. She is still exploring her professional interests in oncology but has particular interest in hematologic malignancies and immunotherapies. Outside of pharmacy, Emily enjoys trying new restaurants, spending time on Keuka Lake, and watching sports (Go Bills!).

Dr Kaitlyn Healy: Dr. Kaitlyn Healy is originally from Buffalo, New York. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University at Buffalo School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences and completed her PGY-1 pharmacy residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland. Her professional interests include solid tumor oncology, outpatient oncology practice, and academia. Outside of pharmacy, Kaitlyn enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, attending concerts, and trying new recipes. She is also an avid fan of the Buffalo Bills and Sabres! Kaitlyn would like to thank her family, friends, and mentors for their support throughout her pharmacy education and residency training. She is excited to continue her training by completing the PGY-2 Oncology Pharmacy Residency at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center.

Dr Heewon (Claire) Seo: Dr. Heewon (Claire) Seo is originally from Suwon, South Korea and received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from University at Buffalo School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2025. She completed her PGY-1 Pharmacy residency at Mount Sinai Brooklyn in Brooklyn, New York, and is excited to return to Buffalo for her PGY2 Oncology Residency. Current professional interests include hematologic malignancies, though I am looking forward to gaining experiences in solid tumors and other areas of oncology throughout this year. Outside of pharmacy, I like going exploring the city, hiking, yoga, puzzles and crafts.
