In recognition of its efforts to promote diversity in nursing career development and reduce healthcare disparities, Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center has received the 2022 Partnership of the Year Award from Buffalo Black Nurses Inc.

A targeted therapy for children with high-risk Hodgkin lymphoma (HL) was shown to significantly reduce relapse rates when tested in a large multicenter clinical trial conducted by the Children’s Oncology Group (COG) co-led by Roswell Park's Kara Kelly, MD. The study results have been reported in the New England Journal of Medicine.

Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer death in the United States, accounting for almost 25% of all cancer deaths. Roswell Park is one of more than 50 organizations calling for greater awareness to get eligible people screened.
