John Krolewski, MD, PhD, has been appointed as Chair of the Department of Cancer Genetics and Genomics and Co-Leader of the Cancer Center Support Grant (CCSG) Genetics and Genomics Program at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center.

Tamoxifen is widely used for the treatment of women diagnosed with certain types of early and advanced breast cancers, but not all patients will benefit from it. A team from Roswell Park Cancer Institute and Northwestern University examined the mechanisms behind tamoxifen resistance.
