About Sunita Patruni

Biography:

Dr. Patruni is a Medical Oncologist and Hematologist at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center. She received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and her Doctor of Medicine from St. George's University. Dr. Patruni completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Allegheny Health Network in Pittsburgh, PA and her fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at Northwell Health in New Hyde Park, NY where she also served as Chief Fellow.

Dr. Patruni has dedicated her time to research that focuses on health disparities in cancer treatment and novel treatment strategies for NSCLC and pancreatic cancer. Her work has been presented at national meetings and published in peer-reviewed journals.

Dr. Patruni treats both solid and hematologic malignancies with a special interest in cancers of the GI tract.
