This symposium is designed to provide updates in lung, colon, and breast cancer screening along with other topics relevant to primary care providers.

Educational objectives

Following this program, participants should be able to:

  • Identify and describe cancer screening guidelines as well as formulate appropriate management of abnormal finding detected during screening.
  • Demonstrate understanding of various classes of anticancer drugs and their potential adverse effects.
  • Review and examine the roles of genetic testing for patients who are at increased risk for cancer.

The Research Studies Center is located across the street from the hospital building on Elm & Carlton Streets. Use the entrances facing Carlton Street.

Attendees may wish to use the parking ramp on Elm & Carlton. Simply request a QR validation code from the symposium registration desk to enable you to exit the ramp for free. You do not need to bring your parking ticket to the registration desk. Free street parking is also available on Saturdays.
