About Beverly Close

Biography:

I have been practicing as a physician assistant in hospital medicine for 19 years with 16 years at Roswell. I have served as the co-chair of the Advanced Practice Council and physician assistant representative on Medical Staff Executive Committee. I have served on several other committees including: Glycemic Control, Sepsis, Antimicrobial Stewardship, Radiology Optimization, and APP Professional Development Committee. Most recently, I have joined the Peer Review Committee and Provider Informatics Leadership Team. I have also precepted many students from regional physician assistant, nurse practitioner, and exercise science programs. I also teach our nurses and advanced practice providers on several topics.
