Women’s Choice Awards Recognizes Roswell Park as one of America’s Best Hospitals

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center has been recognized by the Women’s Choice Awards as one of America’s Best Hospitals.

Women’s Choice ranked Roswell Park in the top 1 % of hospitals in cancer care, comprehensive breast care and mammogram imaging — the only hospital in Buffalo with those designations.

The Women’s Choice Awards are determined through the most recent publicly available clinical data from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) patient satisfaction survey results, relevant accreditation information from appropriate sources and the American Hospital Directory. 

Roswell Park holds National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC)the American College of Surgeons, based on rigorous standards for high-quality, patient-centered breast cancer care from prevention to survivorship. Among other quality designations and distinctions, Roswell Park is accredited by the Commission on Cancer (CoC) and the National Accreditation Program for Rectal Cancer (NAPRC), and earned the maximum rating of "Exceptional" on its most recent review by the National Cancer Institute.
