Biography
I am a Western New York native and earned my medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine, followed by a comprehensive surgical residency at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York City, a top hospital in the country. Subsequently, I spent four years as a general surgeon for the U.S. Air Force in Washington, DC. Once I completed my active-duty service, I pursued advanced training in cardiothoracic surgery at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, a teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School. I am board certified in general surgery and thoracic surgery, certified in robotic surgery, and I specialize in minimally invasive thoracic surgical oncology. I am also an active researcher in cancers of the chest, focusing on medical applications of artificial intelligence.
