How do I...visit the Patient Terrace?

A paved terrace with garden boxes

With warmer weather on the way, you may be eager to get outside for some fresh air and sunshine. Visit the Marie, Maria and Michael Bogner, Sr. Patient Terrace (formerly the MMMB Patient Terrace) on the second floor of the Scott Bieler Clinical Sciences Center (CSC), next door to the hospital. You’ll enjoy a sweeping view of the city, comfortable seating and an array of garden boxes featuring native species.

Please note:

  • If you are an inpatient, you must have the approval of your doctor or nurse before leaving your room and the floor.
  • You must wear a mask and maintain a six-foot distance from others while on the Terrace.
  • To maintain safe distancing, a limited number of people will be allowed on the Terrace at the same time. Please take note of the posted occupancy number and don’t exceed it.

The Terrace is open 7 a.m.-7 p.m. every day, weather permitting. To visit, take the elevator to the second floor of the CSC, turn right and follow the signs.
