Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, with its first new building outside the downtown Buffalo campus, will create a northern Western New York hub for high-quality, comprehensive cancer care. Spanning 26,000 square feet, the construction will provide a welcoming, state-of-the-art facility for patients to receive chemotherapy infusions, imaging, labwork, pharmacy services and important treatments available only through clinical trials. The onsite physician team will include providers who focus on lymphoma and gynecologic, urologic, dermatologic, gastrointestinal and thoracic cancers.

Once the Bieler Amherst Center opens, the existing services at Roswell Park’s Amherst Center on College Parkway will relocate to the new building and patients at neighboring Breast Care of WNY and Roswell Park Hematology Oncology Northtowns will also be able to use services at the new facility. Patients will benefit from unparalleled cancer care in a convenient and comforting space designed by cancer experts with input from cancer patients.

Named for Scott Bieler, longtime Roswell Park supporter

The new center’s name recognizes the significant personal contributions of Scott Bieler, President and CEO at the West Herr Automotive Group to the Roswell Park Alliance Foundation. Mr. Bieler’s generosity to Roswell Park spans decades and he has served on the board of the Alliance Foundation since 2002.
