Discovering genetic and epigenetic vulnerabilities in urological cancers to develop targeted therapies

The Woloszynska Lab focuses on uncovering the molecular mechanisms driving urological cancers, specifically prostate and urinary bladder cancers.

By combining traditional molecular and biochemical methods with advanced tools like RNA sequencing, CRISPR-based genome engineering, and high-throughput functional screening, we aim to unravel the complexities of cancer biology.

“We are not just our genes. We are the environment in which we grow up. It is very important to take into consideration all these factors when we study cancer.”
