The Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging, Eastern Great Lakes Chapter (SNMMI-EGLC), will be holding its annual meeting at Roswell Park on May 8 and May 9, 2015. The title of this year's meeting is: Education and Advocacy, Nuclear/Molecular Imaging and the Future.
The keynote presenter for the meeting is Robert Wah, MD, President of the American Medical Association (AMA). Dr. Wah is a reproductive endocrinologist and ob-gyn in McLean, Va. He became the 169th president of the AMA in June 2014 – the first Asian-American with that distinction. Dr. Wah practices and teaches at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Md., and at the National Institutes of Health. A leader in health information technology, Dr. Wah is chief medical officer for Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) and is regularly ranked among Modern Healthcare magazine’s “50 Most Influential Physician Executives.”
All employees of the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus (BNMC) have been invited to attend Dr. Wah’s two presentations free of charge. Both presentations will be held in the David C. Hohn, MD, Lecture Hall, Research Studies Center, located across the street from the main hospital.
