The Endoscopy Center at Roswell Park Cancer Institute, a new state-of-the-art facility unveiled last fall, has received national recognition for quality and safety by a leading medical society.

Roswell Park Cancer Institute and its Board of Directors thank the Western New York delegation of State Senators and Assembly Members for their tireless work in restoring $15.5 million in funding to the Institution.

Electronic cigarettes produce third-hand exposure to nicotine residue, but this exposure is significantly less than that seen with traditional cigarettes, according to a study conducted by researchers at Roswell Park Cancer Institute and published online ahead of print in the International Journal of Drug Policy.

Roswell Park faculty and staff were on hand when Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz signed legislation that includes electronic cigarettes in the county’s Clean Indoor Air Act.
